I came back from my holiday to Majorca two days ago. It was amazing and I had so much fun. From the day I arrived to the day I left I had so much fun and made so many memories. I also made friends with some of the people who work at the resort, they are all so lovely and their spirit is like they are on holiday too.
All day, every day the resort I stayed in had activities. On the very first day I did a filming activity where we spend around an hour making a short film, but it was mainly having fun making a video on a smart phone. Every week they have the same activities and the filming is different every week and when I did it was hilarious. We took a large watermelon, drew a face on it and put a wig on it. We then went around the resort looking for places to film the watermelon as if it was a person.
We took the watermelon into the arcade, shopping in the gift shop, weightlifting in the gym, relaxing on a sunbed, ordering a drink at the bar, checking in, floating in the pool in a rubber ring but my favourite is when I went down the kid’s pool slide with the watermelon.
There were so many restaurants and in every single one of them, I loved. They were all so different with different themes but the one we loved the most was the main restaurant for many different reasons, it was larger, the cooking standard was the best out of all of them and the variety of food was the best. Every night in that restaurant there was a different theme and two of my favourite themes were seafood night where they served an unbelievable variety of seafood including oysters, baby eels, scallops, prawns, clams, razor clams, everything. My other favourite night was chocolate night, there were two large chocolate fountains, by one was a mountain of strawberries and by the other was stacks of delicious pancakes.
Mid way through the holiday there was a massive foam party in front of the stage. The staff had a giant foam machine and sprayed it over everyone for an hour while blasting loud music. The foam came up to my knees, I had so much fun. They also had silent parties on their private beach where all the music they played through Bluetooth headphones. There was also a magic show which my sister and I helped him as assistants, I did unfortunately see how the trick worked but the other tricks still puzzle me.
Fact of the day: The oldest still-operating amusement park in the world opened in Denmark in 1583.
Joke of the day: I refused to believe that my dad was stealing from his job as a road worker but when I went round to his house, all the signs were there.
Riddle of the day: You can drop me from the tallest building and I’ll be fine, but if you drop me in water I die. What am I?
